Fieldwork for the Carbon County, Utah, section of the "Italian-American in the West," (IAW) project took place during the summer and early fall of 1990. Fieldworkers Tom Carter, Phil Notarianni, and Steve Siporin conducted the fieldwork. The Italian-American in the West" was a project of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.
